I normally never write product reviews but decided I'd write a Pasta Boat Review since i liked the product so much. I found it to be a no-brainer when it comes to cooking pasta and you don't need to be a 5 star gourmet chef to cook delicious spaghetti, penne, lasagna etc. I like how i don't have to rely on a strainer anymore and it saves on washing dishes which i do by hand so it makes the after dinner cleanup a breeze. Pasta Boat is only 10 bucks and is especially great for kids going away to university. I bought my son a pasta boat for his dorm and he's able to have a microwave in his room. He cooks up pasta using the pasta boat whenever he gets hungry at dinner time. Of course he still misses his mother cooking he can still cook up a decent meal. Not sure what the deal is right now for the pasta boat but when i bought it, it was only 10 dollars plus shipping and handling. Pasta Boat is definitely worth buying!...Read Full Review

Pasta boat worked great for me. I can't complain about the time it took to ship the product as it arrived only 10 days after i had originally ordered. I recommend following the Pasta Boat instructions to cook it without the lid. You put the lid on when you decided to strain it. Whenever I made a full package which is at about water level 6 on the pasta boat container. I love eating whole wheat pasta these days cuz it's healthy and i find it generally tastes better than regular pasta. I also use my Pasta Boat to boil potatoes so I find it's pretty versatile. I was surprised at how affordable this product was compared to the great use you can get out of it. Pasta Boat really is a kitchen must have for everybody. Pasta Boat removes the woes of burning your fingers with it's stay cool handles and allows you to measure the water perfectly. I've used pasta boat for cooking marcaroni and cheese for my kids which is now even more less of a hassle instead of cooking it on the stove. Definately Pasta Boat has to be one of the best microwave cooking tools that has come along and years and it wouldn't surprise me if Pasta Boat become a staple in most kitchens. For a busy mum this is a must have for cooking quick meals for the little ones. You can't go wrong for just spending $10 so i say get yours now. I saw the Pasta Boat while I was at the mall and finally decided to purchase it after seeing it a few times. I was quite amazed at how great Pasta Boat works. I live by myself so this product made total sense as I don't have to lug around a huge pot of boiling water from sink to the stove. I did some reading on how other people thought of the product over the web and saw some negative reviews I couldn't understand since I thought the Pasta Boat worked so great for me. Cooking Pasta has become so much easier for me and a lot quicker too. I don't have to constantly watch my pasta cook and have to deal with the mess afterwards. Finally you can end all your pasta woes with the Pasta Boat. This product has amazing features that have made cooking pasta so much easier. Good bye to having to depend on timing and straining as Pasta Boat is the perfect solution. You can now move on to more pressing tasks in the kitchen as Pasta Boat now gives you more freedom in the kitchen. I've tried other microwave containers but none compare to Pasta Boat. The Pasta Boat containers allows you to measure the exact amount of pasta and also allows serving a breeze with the handles to control your rationing. What I like about Pasta Boat is that at the end of a long work day .. if i'm really hungry I can whip up a quick plate of pasta in no time. Making pasta can be a huge mess and a lot of work. I grew up in a traditional italian family and pasta was eaten pretty often and even when i moved out and started my own family i do still cook pasta for my wife and kids at least a couple times a week. The major tip my mother gave me when she taught me how to cook pasta was it's all about timing. Usually you have to spend time in front of the stove checking if your pasta has become the right texture or as i like to eat my pasta as al dente. Pasta Boat has made cooking pasta extremely easy and removes the headache. It allows you to measure the amount of pasta and is great for preparing a quick plate of pasta when you've gotten home from work. Enjoy all the different type's of pasta's whether spaghetti, rotini, penne .. etc. Pasta Boat is a great as seen on tv purchase and it's helped me immensely in the kitchen.
