  • Effectiveness on both wet and dry surfaces
  • Ability to be painted once dry
  • The flexibility of Flex Seal lies in more than just the flexible seal it creates. It is flexible and it forms an amazing seal!
How it works:
To use Flex Seal, simply follow these easy steps.

1.Shake well. Shake the product well to ensure it is properly mixed and then, holding the product approximately one foot away from the surface to be repaired, spray while moving in a sweeping motion.

2.Repeat. It may necessary to apply more than one coat of Flex Seal to achieve optimal results. Be sure to thoroughly cover the cracked area as well as the surrounding area, for the most protection. Generally, you'll be able to cover between 2 and 8 feet with one large can of Flex Seal, and between 2 and 12 feet with a jumbo can, depending on the thickness of the coatings you've used. Generally, Flex Seal will dry to the touch in about 3 hours and will be fully cured after 24 hours. These times can be affected by the level of humidity in the air, the temperature and the thickness of the coating you applied.

How to get Flex Seal
Flex Seal is not available in any store, anywhere on the planet. The only way to get it is via mail order. With normal shipping, you'll receive your product in 2 to 4 weeks. Need it faster? Opt for priority shipping and you'll be sealing up those cracks in just 5 to 7 days!

A few frequently asked questions about Flex seal:

To which surfaces will Flex Seal adhere?
Just about anything! Flex Seal will stick to surfaces such as wood, metal, til, brick, concrete, glass, plastic, aluminum, drywall, cement, vinyl and virtually any other surface you could think of! Yes, it really is that versatile.

Does the surface have to be dry before applying Flex Seal?
No. Although Flex Seal will adhere better to a clean, dry surface, it is possible to get a good seal on a surface that is wet. Note, however, that Flex Seal applied on a wet surface will take longer to dry. Flex Seal can even be applied in the rain!

Does Flex Seal come in different colors?
No, there's no need. Flex Seal comes in just one colour (black) but it can be painted any color you want once it is dry.

How long will the seal last?
Flex Seal will last a long time. If applied properly, the seal will last for years without cracking, peeling or weakening of the seal. Because the product stays flexible, it can expand and contract with the elements without cracking or peeling.

What exactly IS Flex Seal?
Flex Seal is made of a thick, strong mastic rubber that is designed to
turn into a liquid when sprayed and then solidify into a rubberized
coating.

Is there anywhere that Flex Seal shouldn't be used?
It is not recommended that Flex Seal be used in any application in which
it comes in contact with drinking water or where it will be subject to
extreme heat and pressure, such as inside a water tank or on a radiator.

DIRECTIONS:
SHAKE WELL. Shake well and spray on a clean dry surface using a sweeping motion from a distance of 12 to 14 inches. For best results, apply several coats rather than one thick coat and use at can-temperatures above 60°F. Spray a larger area than where leak has occurred and feather edges. NOTE: After each use, invert can and apply a short burst to clear nozzle.

COVERAGE:
One Large can treats 2 to 8 square feet depending on coating thickness.
One Jumbo can treats 2 to 12 square feet depending on coating thickness

FREQUENSTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How much will one can of Flex Seal™ cover?
A: Depending on number of coats and thickness, one large can will treat up to a 2 to 8 square feet area and one JUMBO can will treat up to 2 to 12 square feet or 40% more! We recommend you spray the area using an even sweeping motion, let it dry completely and recoat again. Several even coats are better than one coat and each time you recoat the surface you will continue to fill in any holes or cracks and the surface will be sealed.

Q: How do I apply Flex Seal™
Shake well and spray an even sweeping motion from a distance of 12 to 14 inches. Spray a larger area than just where leak has occurred and feather edges. For best results, apply several coats rather than one thick coat and use at can-temperatures above 60°F. After each use, invert the can and apply a short burst to clear nozzle.

Q: How long does Flex Seal™ take to dry?
A: Dry time depends on the temperature, humidity and thickness of the coating. Flex Seal will usually dry to the touch within 2 to 3 hours and in 24 hours fully cure. Flex Seal™ gets stronger over time.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Normal shipping is 2 to 4 weeks but with priority processing Flex Seal ships in only 5 to 7 days. Flex Seal™ cannot be shipped overnight.

Q: Can I buy this in a retail store?

Flex Seal is probably the best rubber sealant i've used. I've had two issues with my gutter and another one with a leaky pipe in my basement and I was able to quickly get them patched up using it. It dries up quickly and when you're done using it you can add a little paint over top the path so you can barely tell it was even used on the leak. I've tried other sealants in the past which took forever to dry up and sometimes the leaks would end up opening up only days after applying it. What makes Flex Seal so great is that you can apply it on wet surfaces and it forms a protective cover regardless of the temperature or climate. It's really easy to use. All you have to do is just shake it and spray it on the hole or crack you want to cover up and voila you just saved yourself from calling a professional that will probably gouch you to fix the problem....Read Full Review

Flex Seal worked amazing for me. If you need to patch up leaks then you have to buy flex seal since it's not only cheap but probably works better than any other product on the market. It's a liquid rubber sealant that leaks into any cracks or holes and then eventually dries to cover not only visible leaks but works to get deep into the crack to make sure that it's sealed perfectly without making a mess or being too sticky. You can paint over top of the flex seal rubber sealant when you're done concealing the crack which apparently should last for many years. You can save yourself money in the future from calling a repairman with just a tube of flex seal to patch up any leaky pipes and even cracks in your roof to prevent any kind of leakage you may get. Other rubber sealants won't work in conditiions such as heat, moisture or water but the flex seal works regardless of those factors which makes it superior to other rubber sealants. It doesn't matter what the temperature or weather condi...Read Full Review

The flex seal rubber sealant totally exceded my expectations. I was able to stop a few gutter leaks very easily. Whenever it rained there would be leakage at the joints of the gutters. I've used another silicone compound product in the past but it didn't work 100% unlike when I applied flex seal and eventually the leaks stopped completely. This stuff is very strong and be sure to wear rubber gloves when you're applying it. I haven't tried painting over the rubber sealant yet but it's something i plan on doing but i'm happy enough just to stop the leaks....Read Full Review

I purchased a can from bed bath and beyond but realized after that I could have gotten it for cheaper and a better deal online. We live in a home that is about 80 years old and after big rainfalls or snow melts we'd find water in our basement and I'd have to use a shop vac to pump the water out. I was about to call a handyman but then decided i'd attempt to fix the problem myself with rubber sealant. I saw the infomercial for flex seal and thought i'd give it a try since it didn't cost much and thought i'd try it out before i'd rely on the heavy fees of a handyman. I was able to patch up the leaks myself very easily and sure enough it fixed the problem. If you're looking for liquid rubber sealant then i suggest trying flex seal to patch up any holes or leaks you may because it just might save you a bundle of money in the long run....Read Full Review

As a former handy man i've tried other sealants in the past and none work as good as the flex seal liquid rubber sealant. I've been wanting to try this product for sometime and eventually ordered it to see how it would work and surely it worked as seen in the infomercial. I live in an older home which is subject to the occasional leaks here and there and in some situations in the past i've had to use a shop vac to suck large amounts of water out of my basement. I used the flex seal on some cracks and holes and nothing was able to get through. I've even patched a leak in my brothers travel trailer and it worked like a charm. If you're looking to patch up some leaks and cracks flex seal is the way to go....Read Full Review

This was product was easy to apply as demonstrated in the flex seal infomercial. It didn't work all the time but did solve some major leak problems in my house. The supplier was nice enough to send me another bottle of flex seal because one of the ones I got had the cap somehow fall off when it was delivered so it was no longer usable. I was happy with the swift reply from customer service to my issue. I got the flex seal delivered to my home in short time in fact I don't remember ever getting a product delivered to my home so quickly. For the most part the flex seal is a decent product to patch any leaks in your home....Read Full Review

Flex seal worked great for me. I don't consider myself much of a handyman and have to always rely on paying a repairman to come to my house to fix or do any work on my house. Being an accountant has made me good with numbers but horrible when it comes to working with my hands. I saw the commercial for the flex seal quite a few times on television and decided to place an order since this product isn't available in any stores. Flex Seal calls itself the "handyman in a can" which i thought was pretty clever since it reminded me of a better version of duct tape but this liquid rubber selant proved me so wrong. I fixed a leaky pipe in my home and felt like a professional as I molded the liquid rubber over the opening and soon enough it dried up and the leak was stopped. I also applied the flex seal on a few other places such as a leaky garden hose and some air holes near windows to keep any air from entering my home from outside. This is a very versatile product and a moneysaver. I consider...Read Full Review

Hi, I wanted to submit my own flex review because I just recently purchased my flex seal in canada and wanted to give my own two cents. This liquid rubber spray does an amazing job and is very easy to use. All you have to do is squeeze the trigger and the liquid rubber comes out slowly out of the can and in 5 minutes the rubber begins to harden once it's in contact with air which is plenty of time to mold it over any leaks or cracks. I've tried using the leak ender 2000 in the past which is another rubber sealant alternative which has been advertised as seen on tv but it didn't hold a candle to how great the flex seal was. It's no surprise that flex seal was rated the top liquid rubber sealant amongst all it's competitors and that many people who have tried this liquid rubber compound are as happy as I was based on all the different flex seal reviews i've been reading. If you live in Canada unfortunately you won't be able to find this in any stores including canadian tire, home depot o...Read Full Review

If you're looking for the best rubber sealant then you'll want to give flex seal a try. This product works on the toughest roof leaks as promoted in the flex seal infomercial. Flex Seal was an inexpensive purchase that saved me tons of money from having to hire a repair man to fix a water leak in my home. If you have a leak in your roof, basement, gutter traps or other place then you'll find that this is the perfect solution. I was looking for a while to find where to buy flex seal in canada and couldn't find it anywhere all of last year and now this year flex seal was finally made available in canada. A thick black rubber comes ouf the can when you spray flex seal over any cracks or leaks and is flexible enough that it can also be molded. It says on the flex seal canada website that this product can last for years but this remains to be seen for my own personal inspection. It's no wonder why this home repair product was named the handy man in a can. The money back guarantee gave me a ...Read Full Review

I've used other sealants in the past since liquid rubber sealants are pretty common to find at home hardware or canadian tire or other hardware stores in canada. I had a leak in my home that needed to be fixed and I had a tube of flex seal that I had ordered online that I was ready to test out. I was very impressed with the results for this inexpensive liquid rubber sealant. I would use flex seal again if I ever have a leaky pipe in my home again since it works so well. I've paid a lot more money in the past for other liquid rubber sealants but flex seal canada is definatley the best bang for your buck. You can order flex seal by calling the toll free number or you can order flex seal canada online so it's not hard to come by. Flex Seal works great for the toughest roof leaks as advertised. I know people who have spent a lot of money getting their roofs repaired and it can become quite costly to fix leaks in your gutter, basment or other parts of your home that are suceptable to water leaks. The last thing you want to do is dish out money to pay a contractor or repairman to fix the problem which is why flex seal canada came in handy. Flex seal allows you to take the problem face on by using this rubber sealant to patch up any leaks. I've been looking for a reliable solution for quite sometime and i was fortunate enough to come across the flex seal online after doing some searching to fix a water leak in my home. Flex Seal is basically liquid rubber in a can and works great because it seals any crack or leaks quickly and you can easily mold it into the hole as it takes on any shape to make sure water won't get through.
